Josh Beauchaine

Josh Beauchaine is the Founder and President of Hope Care & Counseling. In addition to being a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Josh is also an ordained minister.
Josh specializes in personal and relationship development working with individual and couples to help them deepen their ability for connection and intimacy. Josh also has extensive experience in working with teenagers and their parents to help them both survive the adolescent process.
Having over 15 years of counseling experience ranging from working with elementary students, severely emotional disturbed adolescents, typical teenagers, premarital couples, couples in marriage crisis, and couples dealing with the loss of a child, affords Josh a unique ability to connect with a broad range of human experience.
Josh holds a Master's Degree in Counseling from Cal State Fullerton, and a Bachelor's of Arts in applied communications from Point Loma Nazarene University. Previous positions in his counseling career have included: Assistant Elementary School Counselor, Supervisor of a Level 14 residential treatment center for severely emotionally disturbed adolescents, Area Director for Young Life, a Christian youth outreach program.
Josh has been married to his wife Kim for over 12 years and has three sons. His hobbies include, golf, football, fishing, working on his Korean War Jeep, and connecting with his family and friends.
John Hernandez
John Hernandez is an Individual, Marriage and Family Therapist Intern with over five years of counseling experience. John's passion is working with individuals, couples and families in order to facilitate personal growth and emotional self-awareness with oneself and within relationships. John’s eclectic and relational approach to therapy offers a safe and compassionate environment for his clients. John is also trained in EMDR therapy.
John holds an A.A. in the Administration of Justice from Northern Virginia College, as well as having graduated with honors with both a B.A. in Psychology, and an M.S. in Clinical Psychology from Vanguard University in Costa Mesa, CA. John’s background includes additional coursework at Tulane University in New Orleans.
John's past experience includes a position as a therapist with the U.S. Navy/Marine Corps, a counselor with Prison Fellowship Ministries working with federal level inmates, a juvenile probation officer with the State of Virginia, and as a therapist for a foster care organization working with severely abused teens. John is also a founding partner of New Vision for Africa.
Additionally, John has served a tour of duty with the U.S. Marine Corps providing security for the President at Camp David, Maryland.
John has been married for three years and enjoys spending time with his wife, rowing, endurance horse riding, motorcycles, surfing and is an avid sports fan.
